The annual Valley of the Arts (VOTA) dinner and auction is happening this Spring! This adults-only evening event is BVEF’s biggest fundraiser of the year and all proceeds benefit our district-wide art, music and dance programs. This is a great opportunity to meet other district parents while enjoying a night out without the kids.

  • Catered dinner
  • Live music and entertainment
  • Live and silent auctions
  • Raffles and fun games
  • And more!

Child care available at YMCA

The YMCA “Sunshine” at Yulupa will be hosting a Parent Night Out during VOTA, 5pm-10pm for school aged kids (TK-6th). The cost is $20 per child and includes pizza, movie, crafts and more. Space is limited, first come, first serve. To sign-up email Hammie (Shevaun) at sthompson@scfymca.org.

Online auction runs April 14-19!

The online auction portion of VOTA is now open. This is your chance to bid on awesome items like overnight stays, restaurant gift cards, rounds of golf, local beer and wine, summer camps, fun experiences for the family, artwork made by your student’s class, and so much more! Make your bids before 9:00pm April 19.

Auction winners can pick up their items at the in-person event on April 19 or on Wednesday, April 23 2:30-5:30 at the Yulupa MPR.

Have something to donate? BVEF is looking for donated items/services to include in the online auction portion of the event. Do you or your company have a product or service you can donate? Own a business and want to help? Work for a business that has a valuable item that would inspire a bidding war? Let us know!

What is VOTA raising money for?

All proceeds from VOTA go to support ART, DANCE, and MUSIC programs in our schools. BVEF is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization 501C(3) responsible for raising over $85,000 each year to provide students with hands-on instruction in art, music, and dance. California does not provide funding for arts education in elementary schools, and ALL of the arts programs our students receive are funded by BVEF and supporters like you!
