BVUSD is very fortunate to have a very rich art program that includes not only a volunteer-led docent program but also our very own artist-in-residence. All BVUSD students will receive art lessons during the school day where they can express themselves through the medium of art with professional instruction and class interaction. The importance of art is highlighted through relevant art history, structured to the curriculum and abilities of the different grade levels. Through the art-making process, students develop confidence, skills and practice constructive thinking.
